This is a film about three Latvian modern artists - Janis Barda, a sculptor, Normund Braslins - a painter, and an architect Ugis Zabers. A peculiar part in their creative process is taken by their wives Inguna, Aija and Aivija and the three women are advanced into the foreground of the film.
“Trivium”- the Latin name for the film means a crossroad of the three roads.
