Together with the authors of the film we can follow the way of Latvian Olympic team to the Games in Sydney. Certainly the Olympic medal is the hishest aim and achievement of any sportsman.
The filmmakers paid a special attention to the Latvian sportsmen: Aigars Fadejevs, Vsevolods Zeljonijs, Igors Vihrovs, Viktors Scerbatihs.
However, the film also lets us into that that precedes it: long training, pains, disappointment and hopes.
We also see the work of those people who usually are as if in the background – coaches, doctors and other members of the team.
The film chronicles the work of the Olympic Committee of Latvial within the Olympic cycle from 1997 till 2000.
The documentary tells about the activities of the Committee directed towards the development of the Olympic movement in Latvia: building of up-to-date sport centres, promotion of junior sports, as well as establishing the Olympic traditions.
