He was buried in a multiple grave, standard at the time in Vienna for a person of his social and financial situation. 452 of Riga’s deceased in 2000 – people without relatives, vagrants and the unidentified were buried in the Jaunciems cemetery…
Riga – 10 Years After… – director Arta Biseniece, 60’, ( A co-productiom with MORGANE PRODUCTION, France for ARTE France.) Very different young people (from opera singer to salesman in Riga Central Market) were chosen to show Riga 10 years after the political changes in our society.

Egg Lady – director Una Celma, 30’, 2000
(Co-production with SVT 1 (Sweden),supported by Jan Vrijman Fund (Netherlands), Svenska Filminstitutet, Latvian National Film Centre Film is a portrait of a woman who has spent nearly 20 years doing the same, monotonous, repetitive work, but who is, nonetheless, quite happy with her life and at peace with herself. The main character, Aina - the Egg Lady of the title - break eggs up to 36 000 by hand all day for a Latvian bakery company.

Two - director Renate Cane, 30', 1994 (a co-production with Von Vietinghoff Filmproduktion for ZDF/ARTE) Olegs Tillbergs and Ojars Petersons are two Latvian artists who have frequently participated in large exhibitions internationally. Not only do they share a common cultural background and attitudes to art, but also they have a shared experience of drinking, jokes, loves and propensity toward risk and hard physical work.
