"TOBAGO" CHANGES ITS COURSE

Based on the script by experienced authors in adventure genre
Gunars Cirulis, Anatols Imermanis and Mihais Bleimanis. There could be traced some semblance with the real life happening, connected with Latvian ship "Hercogs Jekabs" ("Duke Jacob"). Summer 1940. Sensing inevitable changes in Latvia - fall of president Ulmanis reign - the owner of the ship "Tobago", that has sailed away from Latvian coast, decides not to return. On the ship there is also a member of a secret (underground) organisation Drezins, who sympathises with communists. Sailors who have found out that the Soviet powert has been established in Latvia want to return. They manage to reach their aim and "Tobago" changes its course.
