VFS has weekly 30 min. slot «Vides Filmu Studija presents» in Latvian TV:
VIDES FAKTI (Environmental Facts)
a weekly 15 min TV program dealing with environmental and wildlife topics broadcasted since 1996. In 1997, 1998 and 1999 received awards for the best independent production on Latvian TV.
COPE (Catch)
a bi-weekly 15 min TV program for fishermen.
IZ-BRAUCIENS (Out-ing)
a monthly program about active tourism.
LAIKA CELINIEKI (Travelers in Time)
a monthly TV documentary about the interrelations of man, nature and the cultural environment.

Services offered by VFS:
hire of a fully equipped film crew, experienced at filming under various conditions, including PADI certified underwater cameramen (Betacam SX or DV formats)
hire of professionally upgraded post-production facilities for off-line and on-line editing (AVID MC1000 and MCXpress)
access to computer-based video archive with unique audio-visual materials dated from 1990 about ecological and nature themes in Latvia, the Baltic States and the world.

VFS was established in December 1997 based on several years' experience in environmental and wildlife TV production within creative group «Environmental Video Project» and in cooperation with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, Baltic Media Centre
and with the support of PHARE programme. Now VFS is operating as a separate project within non-profit state enterprise «VIDES PROJEKTI».
